Celebrate March with Cake

Today I had the idea that I needed to make cake. I just couldn't stop myself. I spent half my allotted grocery money on baking goods, and most of my afternoon making these:

The Gentlemen's Cake: Yellow Cake with Milk Chocolate Ganache (it's one of my brother's and my boyfriend's favorite cakes)



Charcoal Cake: Salted Dark Chocolate Cake with Dark Chocolate Ganache (this came to me out of nowhere on my way to the grocery store.)

I added a lot of Kosher Salt just for looks, it tastes better if you wipe most of the salt off.
