Ravanna
On Saturday last my friends and I headed down south to Spanish Fork for India Fest at the Hare Krishna temple. There were hundreds of people milling about and Indian food and dancing and singing and a very wonderful, poorly put on play that ended in the burning of a giant effigy of Ravanna the 10-headed beast. It exploded in flames and fireworks, a wonderful end to the long day. Today was the last day of seeing Elder Haslam at the MTC and I feel so relieved now. But anyway, other than the charlie horse in my calf that I received at 2am, the evening was great. We bought Indian suits with tunics, pants and a shawl, and they are beautiful. A few of us went to Indian food afterward.
